Coaches

When it all comes down to it, Revolution X will be judged on the quality of our people and the service we provide to our clients. That’s why we only have skilled professionals who know what the hell they’re talking about and they know how to get the best out of you.

Our people have one goal – to get you results. They may leave you a crumpled up mess on the floor after each workout, but you’ll be back asking them to put you through your paces, again and again. Here’s our line up.

Clay Cook / Coach

Growing up in a small town I was never really that athletically focused. That all changed when I moved to the city and started at a school with a huge sporting focus. I fell in love with training and competed in rugby and water polo.

For me the conditioning side was the element I became most passionate about, so when I found rowing it was instant chemistry! I rowed throughout school and after school I rowed at a national level. It was my rowing coach who actually introduced me to CrossFit as a means of developing strength.

My first CrossFit workout was 'Fight Gone Bad' and I remember lying on the ground after the workout and I knew I had found something special. CrossFit has now taken over my life and I am so grateful. I love training CrossFit and I love how happy it makes my clients. They love the results.

Throughout my time as an athlete and a personal trainer, I have worked with some extraordinary coaches and incredible athletes. Conditioning Coach, Rob Roland-Smith, who worked with the Manly Sea Eagles, Penrith Panthers and numerous surfers on world pro tours. James Chapman, Australian Athens Olympian, coached me at Sydney Rowing Club and Geoffrey and James Stewart, two time Olympian’s were my rowing coaches at school.
