Well Done! EVERYBODY. Remember just because the challenge is over, your goals will continue to be there. Keep training and eating right otherwise all your hard work will disappear!
Our very own Ed Dona accomplished a personal goal over his Christmas break.
Ed decided to take on Mount Kilimanjaro the highest mountain in Africa (nicknamed the roof of Africa).
Mount Kilimanjaro is actually a dormant volcano. Its two peaks stand about 11 km (about 7 mi) apart and are connected by a broad ridge. The highest peak, Kibo, rises to 5895 m (19,340 ft) above sea level, and the summit of Mawensi is 5149 m (16,892 ft) above sea level.
The RevX team would like to congratulate Ed on his accomplishment and achieving his goals.
WELL DONE!!!
Success is not final, failure is not fatal: it is the courage to continue that counts

Revolution X was privileged to host a CROSSFIT LEVEL ONE COURSE over the weekend!
It was a great turn out with over 65 attendee's from all over Australia and a few travelling all the way from New Zealand. The day was jam packed with lots of information and work outs. All attendee's got a taste of the dreaded FRAN a benchmark workout, consisting of 21-15-9 Thrusters 40/30kg and Pull ups. It was an awesome opportunity to get to know and throw down with fellow CROSSFITTERS.
We would like to say a big THANK YOU to the instructors on the day Brett, Drummond, Doug, Danny, Stacey and Lily.
Thursday 26th January – Australia Day – Revolution X will be closed, apologises for inconvenience. Trading hours will commence as normal Friday 27th January.
Due to either a momentary lapse of sanity, or what we’d prefer to call an overwhelming sense of human compassion, the coaches of CrossFit RevX banded together recently and committed to a task that we believe has never been done before – smashing “Ten Girls for Time” to raise money for the Sydney Children’s hospital.
The rules were simple. Give a monetary donation and choose a girl for both Clay and Rob to complete on the day. The more generous contributors that donated more than $500 had the pleasant task of choosing a “Hero” WOD for the lads complete…. And boy were the members of RevX feeling generous!
The result? Seven girls – Helen, Linda, Kelly, Barbara, Eva, Angie and Mary… and three Hero WODs: Murph, Lumberjack 20 and Sevrin.
Whilst there was some scepticism as to whether the boys were capable of getting through the day we’re proud to report that over a 12 hour period, the boys completed the task at hand, at times being joined by other members in each of their WODs, and have made for a very proud family at Revolution X.
FUND UPDATE
The count is now finished and we are pleased to announce that RevX raised over a grand total of $7,500 AUD as a result of the charity drive!
We would like to thank all of our members for the generosity displayed for such an important cause.
